JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer support and treatment for the target group of adults in vulnerable life situations. In our unit, we have a clear systems-theoretical approach. We are an organization that places the individual's needs at the center and actively works to create sustainable changes through a close working alliance with our clients and their networks.

As a social worker and adult therapist, you will work with both assessment and treatment for adults with various types of issues such as addiction, mental health problems, domestic violence, or social vulnerability. Many of our clients have comorbidity. To succeed, good collaboration with other actors both within and outside our organization is required.

You will:

• Conduct assessments and follow up on interventions according to SoL and LVM
• Provide counseling and supportive interventions individually and in groups
• Work with motivational interviewing (MI) and other evidence-based methods
• Coordinate contact with other actors such as addiction clinics, healthcare, employment services, and voluntary organizations
• Participate in method development and contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, you are required to have a degree in social work or another qualification that the employer assesses as equivalent.

It is advantageous if you have further training in MI, ASI, ADAD, or solution-focused methodology, as well as experience working with domestic violence, network meetings, and collaboration with external actors.

You have at least 2-3 years of experience working with adults in outpatient care, financial assistance, social psychiatry, therapeutic work, or domestic violence. It is important that you have a good ability to document according to statutory requirements.

As a person, you are empathetic and attentive with the ability to create trusting relationships. You are collaborative and enjoy working in a team, while also being self-driven and taking responsibility for your tasks. With a professional approach, you are confident in handling complex situations.

A driving license (B) is required, as home visits may be part of the job, as well as flexibility to work evenings if needed to meet clients' needs.
